Frequently Asked Questions:

What is social dancing?
What dances do you teach?
Do I need a partner to learn to social dance?
What kind of shoes/clothes should I wear when dancing?
Clothes for dancing typically are comfortable, secure, and non-restrictive. You don't want to wear something that will fall or slip around, nor get caught or tangled in anything. Styles will vary depending on the type of dance or event you are attending. Dance shoes are prefereable for dancing, however in lieu of dance shoes, you'll want to wear something along the lines of a dress shoe. Something with a smooth leather sole is ideal, and a similar heel height to what you are comfortable in. You'll want to be stable on your feet, plus you don't want a heavy, clunky shoe, with a lot of traction that will drag on the floor.
